Itinerary

Day 1

Tangier = Chefchaouen = Fes

We will pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or the harbor and start our 4 Days desert Tour from Tangier To Marrakech. We will travel through the beautiful Rif Mountains, passing by Tetouan and continuing to the blue city of “Chefchaouen”.

In Chefchaouen, we will have free time to explore this little town, walking through its narrow streets painted in blue and white colors, which will provide an opportunity to take some beautiful photographs. You will be able to visit the old medina and Ras el Ma, the “head of the water” where the fresh mountain waterfall seeps its way into the town.

You will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the famous Plaza Uta el-Hammam square. In the afternoon, once your visit ends, we will travel directly to Fes, enjoying wonderful views of the Rif Mountains and the green landscapes of northern Morocco. We will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and you will have an overnight stay at a decorated hotel or riad.

Day 2

Fes = Ifrane = Azrou = Ziz Valley = Merzouga desert

You will be picked up by our driver from Sahara Camel Trips company at 8:30 AM from your lodging in Fes and drive to Merzouga by means of the CenterChart book Mountains. We’ll enjoy a nice drive through Berber villages.

We’ll stop in the beautiful city of Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland,” then continue to Azrou, the famous cedar forest where you can see the monkeys. After that, we’ll head to the town of Midelt, where you can have a break for lunch.

Continuing south, we’ll reach Erfoud, known for its fossils and yearly festival dates market, and travel through the beautiful Ziz Valley, where we’ll stop to admire a nice panoramic view with the scenery of the oasis.

From here, you will do a camel trek to reach our Berber Camp in Merzouga, a ride that takes 1-1.5 hours with a break on top of the dunes to watch the sunset. You can try sandboarding if you’re interested, and enjoy the views and take photos.

After this beautiful experience, you’ll continue to the camp, where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of tea. Relax until dinner time, and after dinner, there will be some traditional Berber drumming music. Enjoy the starry sky before sleeping under a nomadic tent.

Day 3

Merzouga = Rissani = Todra Gorge = Boumalne

Today as you’re already in the desert it worth getting up early in the morning to watch the sunrise near the camp after these lovely moments you will have breakfast and take shower at the camp then you can ride the camels or transfer back to the original started location where you will meet your driver.

And continue your tangier desert tour 4 days, you will visit weekly market of Rissani if it’s one of the market days ( Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday) we’ll pass through small Berber towns such as Touroug, Tinjdad and the Tinghir where we’ll halt to appreciate its wonderful Todra valley full of palm trees and vegetation.

We continue to Todra gorge located at the feet of the high atlas moutains a famous place for rock climbers we’ll have free time to walk through its high canyons, we’ll have a break for lunch at that point in the evening we’ll travel to Boumalne Dades and in the evening we’ll arrive in Dades valley, supper and overnight remain at hotel/riad.

Day 4

Boumalne = Ouarzazate = High atlas = Marrakech

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, our journey continues towards Marrakech via Kalaat M’gouna, the Rose Valley, and the Skoura palm grove. We will make a visit to the Kasbah Taourirte and the film studios in Ouarzazate (optional).

Then, we will drive to Ait Benhaddou, where we will visit its famous and oldest kasbah, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.

We will continue our trip, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco, called Tizi N’tichka, at an elevation of 2,260 meters above sea level. This offers impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many nearby Berber villages.

In the afternoon or evening, we will arrive in Marrakech. You will be transferred to your hotel, and your 4 Days desert Tour from Tangier To Marrakech will come to an end.
